Ms. Crowe was one of my elected trustees while I served as Principal at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic High School for eight years. She was instrumental in developing the vision of the new school in Aurora as we planned for the successful opening in 2009. She continued her support of the school community during my tenure and together realized many enhancements to the school including the building of an artificial turf multipurpose sports complex that is being shared by the school and the Town of Aurora.

I am pleased to endorse Ms. Crowe as trustee candidate for Aurora, King Whitchurch-Stouffville and wish her continued success in the next election.

As a past Parent Council Chair and member for over ten years, and a mother of five children that attend(ed) St. Brigid CES, I can speak from experience on many different levels about how Elizabeth Crowe has been such an asset to our school board.

First and foremost Elizabeth is always very accessible to us. On many different levels she maintains her support to us as parents and as members of Council. She attends meetings and functions at our school and organizes joint meetings of the Stouffville schools when needed. She helped organize petitions when there was a need for a school. Recently she has chaired the process for the naming of the two new schools and held a parent information night when there were questions/concerns regarding the design and programming of the new school. She is always a click or phone call away for answers to parent concerns and proves very helpful in communication between the board and parents. This year she supported us through the transition of a new Principal ensuring that the parent community was heard, making this as seamless as possible during a very anxious time for our parent community.

Another amazing quality in Mrs. Crowe is her ability to read the needs of the community and plan for future development. Elizabeth’s dream of acquiring the first Catholic High School for Stouffville used to be just around the corner as the plans are now well under way. I know if she is re-elected this process will be both efficient and community involved as all of her projects are.

Bottom line is this, as a Council Chair she supported me to mentor the incoming Council, and I appreciate her professionalism and attention to details, and as a Mom I trust her to provide what my children need for their education. Mrs. Crowe’s level of commitment to transparency and community input are two of her best assets as they create a level of trust and confidence that is profound.
